My father, Clayton Sizemore was born in Judson, N.C. near Bryson City, N.C. (the town of Judson is now under water, due to the building of the Fontana Dam.) He married Mozelle Katherine Lindsey from Charlotte, N.C. and moved there. My grandfather's name was Chester Sizemore and he was married to Martha Sizemore. Chester's dad may have been Zachariah (?), I am not sure. But I heard he became a Baptist preacher. He may have come up from South Carolina. I am interested in starting to pursue our genealogy and would appreciate any help you can give in where to search.
