I would imagine by now you have received at least one e-mail about your use of the term "squaw". You may or may not know that this term is very offensive to Native American women today. It is a Algonquin derived anglicized word, loosely meaning "woman of the night" (seeings how the bulletinboard would not let me use the more direct word) as it refers to the female genitalia. It is akin to using today's slang for the female genitalia that begins with the letter "c". I don't think you purposely would be calling your great-great grandmother a "c", would you?
