Birth father search - Melvin Wood(s), Montana Wood Woods Montana Posted by Galen Schroeder on April 22, 1999 at 09:16:26: My wife, Mary, born 3/11/45. Recent access to adoption records names MELVIN WOOD(S) as her birth father. He apparently was not informed of pregnancy or birth. Info on Melvin is limited assuming it was not fabrication by birth mother (who will have nothing to do with Mary). Melvin was about 26 years of age in 1944 (born 1916-1920?) and supposedly a barber in Billings,MT. Parents were farmers, possibly in Harlowton or Scobey area. He had 3 brothers and 2 sisters. We have exhausted all leads thus far. We are discouraged but still holding to hope that this name is actual name and that we will find him. Melvin would be about 80 years old today. Any fresh leads will be apreciated.
