YOUR BIRTH MOTHER IS LOOKING FOR YOU!

TULSA, OKLAHOMA OSTEOPATHIC HOSP. BI-RACIAL BOY, 1965

Posted by VIRGINIA KNOX on February 21, 1999 at 22:06:00:

You were born to a mother who had 3 children, mentally ill and on welfare. The psychiatrist felt it was best to place you for adoption. A preacher and his wife on the North side of Tulsa adopted you I was told. Your birth father was GEORGE ARMSTRONG who was a musician (drummer) for THE ERNIE FIELDS BAND on North Peoria st in Tulsa. He was a very good musician and was in the movie "LILYS OF THE FIELDS" among other things. George left for Vallejo California where his mother resided at the time. I filled out the paper work as accurate as I could at the time at the Tulsa County adoption agency so you would know where you came from at least. I hope this information makes sense to all who might know you or to you yourself. I do not know any other names to relay to you but I do hope that I can find you and we can get together if you want. I have thought about you many, many times and wish that you were conceived in this day and time instead of the '60's because I would not have hesitated to KEEP YOU!!! The times were very different then. We were harassed wherever we went and I was evicted out of my apartment. We couldn't go into restaurants etc. the normal things couples do. I just couldn't handle it and I am very sorry for hurting you.

Thanks for visiting and good luck in finding your family.

Between April 2000, and November 2001, 34 people wrote to thank us for finding their family. We suspect that many more were helped who forgot to say thank you. Your donation will help many families to be reunited. (Perhaps your own as well.)
