searching for birth parents and foster parents

Ft Lauderdale, Holy Cross Hospital

Posted by Alisa on May 31, 1999 at 09:18:52:

My name is Alisa O. Temples. I am looking for my birth parents and my foster parents. I was born 5-27-64 at Holy Cross Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
The following minimal information is all I know about my biological parents.
I was told that my parents weren't married, but that my mother was 28 years of age when I was born. I have no idea if either one is originally from or still living in South Florida.
My foster parents cared for me the first 18 months of my life. They probably lived in South Florida. I have a letter that my foster parents wrote for my adoptive parents concerning my likes and dislikes regarding foods, cartoon. I liked to watch Popeye and eat bread, cheese, and eggs broken up in a bowl in the mornings. The name my foster parents had given me was Margaret. I was also told that my foster parents had wanted to adopt me but the agency did not allow foster families to adopt children in their care. It is my understanding that the adoption agency was Catholic and obviously a closed adoption.
I truly would like to find my foster parents, my biological parents, & any siblings.
Please respond to Elwalker39@aol.com or call 305-664-4249 and leave message on answering machine.

Thanks for visiting and good luck in finding your family.

Between April 2000, and November 2001, 34 people wrote to thank us for finding their family. We suspect that many more were helped who forgot to say thank you. Your donation will help many families to be reunited. (Perhaps your own as well.)

Donations may be mailed to:
