I am searching for my mother's birth parents. She was born in September of 1937 in Ft. Worth and was adopted by Harrison Alexander Hutchinson and Evelyn Kaufman Hutchinson. Mr. Hutchinson worked for Elliot Roosevelt and as a result, the files were sealed and we have been unable to obtain much information. The adoption was handled in February so there is some time in between the birth and adoption that we don't know where my mother was. It could have been in a home. If the dates are around the same as your half sister, please let me know and I can give you some other information. If not, have you had any success trying to obtain information from the court house in Ft. Worth? If so, let us know how you did it. They will not let us have any access to the file.
