My birth parents are Willa Mae (SULLIVAN)STOKES,my Dad is DARIS EDMOND STOKES.He was a Private in the US ARMY at the time of my birth.They were both born in Nashville Tenn.She was 18 yrs. old and he was 23 at the time of my birth. She was born in 1930, and he was born in 1925. There were two other children older which I do not remember as I was only 8 months old when I went to live with Thomas D. Gillespie and Edna(CROSS) Gillespie.
