Bill Holshevnikoff’s workshop "The Power of Lighting for Film & Video" is one of the best lighting workshops you could ever attend. The workshop and Bill take you through the Theory of 3-Dimensional Contrast, proper metering techniques, value placement within the image, the use of diffusion materials, a review of lighting products and how he uses them, and then a great sample of many images he has created for a great mix of clients. He shows the images and technical data and provides a discussion about each image of how he placed the equipment. Some subject selections include items as small as a shiny chrome razor, to a car, and a stage and audience. He also includes many different scenes of talent/people lighting. His workshops are attended by all the major news gathering organizations and production companies in the US and the world.
