This is a simple search form intended to find a single name, place, date, etc. Examples would be Smith or 1900, not John Smith or January, 1900.  But it seems that two words (john AND smith) separated by AND often displays those results closer to the top of the list.  The GenConnect pages should be searched separately using the search form they provide (County surmanes or Global surnames).
